Every item has attention to detail, shape, color, fabric, trim and fit that sets it apart. All crafted in Melbourne each piece is hand cut from Italian and French brocades, cashmere wools, and mercerised cottons in drills, twills and sateen’s, liquid silks and linens.
VIRGINNIE is available from the VIRGINNIE atelier salon boutique in Albert Park in Melbourne.
The boutique and Atelier is a unique retail experience housed within what once was an 1800’s boarding house. It combines restored grandeur with eclectic twentieth century chic.
The look and feel is based on an intimate 1930’s Parisian style garment salon – a place where modernity rubs shoulders with the finer heritage detail and personalised service goes hand in hand with the experience.
All styles are made in very limited quantities and keeping the focus on exclusive. VIRGINNIE accessories compliment the offer.
VIRGINNIE – created by Virginia Feldtman, is the result of 20 years experience in the fashion industry. Virginia commenced her fashion life in Fashion Design, she decided to transfer her skills to management and join one of fashions biggest names, Calvin Klein. She spent over 11 years working with renown international brand Calvin Klein until leaving to start her own business in 2004.
All the years spent working with a global brand, travelling between Europe, Asia and America, gave rise to thoughts of what would be possible if launched her own collection. She recognised a growing demand in the market for luxurious and beautifully tailored items with bespoke exclusivity.
Virginia has created her collection for women who are looking for classic sophistication, elegance and tailoring with a contemporary edge. She has always loved and collected beautiful coats, especially the Trench Coat.
VIRGINNIE is a reflection of her passion, realised through a collection that is built on the foundations of beautifully crafted timeless coats.
