Lisa Barron

Lisa Barron is a Melbourne based designer renowned for her elegant, beautifully cut garments and exquisite imported fabrics. Her collections are available in boutiques around Australia and New Zealand, while also having two of her own stores in the up-market High Street Armadale, and the trendy Toorak Road South Yarra.

Today, the fashion designer is well known not only for her quirky corporate suiting, daywear and co-ordinates, but also for her “special occasion” garments, including beautiful evening dresses and racewear. Exclusive fabrics are extremely important to Lisa and are sourced from all over the world for each collection.

Racewear is another of her talents, with women flocking into her two boutique stores in the weeks leading up to the Spring Racing Carnival, hoping to find that special suit or dress that will set them apart from the crowd. She also has a wonderful relationship with well-known milliner Kim Fletcher, who makes hats and headpieces specifically for the two stores. Lisa admits that the most enjoyable part of having her own label is presenting a catwalk show. She has been involved in many prestigious events over the years, including the Australian Designer Collections and fashion week, where she has dressed supermodels including Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen and Naomi Campbell.
