When recounting Candy Spender's life, it is not difficult to see where the diversity of her inspiration comes from. Since her birth in South America, into a family of artists, Candy has experienced a life as colourful and exotic as her jewels. As a small child, she travelled extensively, living in places such as Iran, Colombia, Venezuela, Holland, UK, Spain and the West Indies.

Richard Nylon
